Doing it yourself?
If you have the time, knowledge, and consistency to manage SEO internally, that can be a perfectly good solution.
Keep doing it.
That doesn't mean you always need the same level of SEO.
If you are doing SEO yourself and staying on top of it, keep doing it. If you already have an aggressive campaign producing what you need, you may not need me. But if SEO matters to your practice and no one is consistently looking after it, that is the gap I fill.
Most small practices end up treating SEO as all or nothing. I think there is a better middle ground.
If you have the time, knowledge, and consistency to manage SEO internally, that can be a perfectly good solution.
Keep doing it.There are times when a larger team, deeper specialization, or a heavier investment makes sense.
Use it when you need it.If nobody is consistently monitoring, improving, and protecting your local search presence, there is a gap.
That is where I come in.I do not begin by asking which monthly package you want. The monthly payment comes later, after we understand the work.
Peel back the first few layers. Understand your current position, goals, competitive landscape, digital assets, and the issues most likely to matter.
Discovery comes firstChoose which recommendations belong in the plan. We establish the total engagement value, then divide it into manageable payments over roughly 6 to 12 months.
Built from what Discovery findsOnce the heavy initial work is done, I stay involved at the level your practice needs, without making you start over or locking you into another long-term campaign.
Where the relationship continuesI already know the questions I need to ask. What I cannot know until I look is what those answers will uncover.
Your goals, market, competitors, website, digital footprint, reputation, asset ownership, and available resources all shape the right SEO approach.
The opportunities, cleanup, technical issues, competitive gaps, and level of effort become clearer only after the first layers are peeled back.
If the evaluation is all you need, you can take the findings and stop there.
The beginning of an SEO relationship is different from maintaining one. That is why I treat the first 6 to 12 months more like a project than a conventional monthly retainer.
Discovery shows what deserves attention and what may not be worth paying for right now.
You decide which recommendations you want included in the initial engagement.
I estimate the overall effort from onboarding through execution rather than forcing the work into a preset package.
The agreed total is divided into a 6- to 12-month payment schedule that fits the engagement and your budget.
Monthly price is the last thing we determine, not the first.
I am not going to use SEO as a reason to sell you a website. In most cases, we can work with the website you already have and improve what matters without starting over.
A website replacement can introduce unnecessary cost and SEO risk. If your current site truly cannot support what we need to accomplish, there is a good chance you already know it. If it becomes an issue, we will address the options then.
Once the discovery, cleanup, foundational work, and initial execution are behind us, you should not have to keep paying new providers to learn the same things about your practice all over again.
SEO does not require the exact same amount of effort every month. One month may be heavier and another lighter. That is one reason SEO Continuity is structured in minimum three-month periods: the work can be spread across the quarter while your costs remain known.
I stay close enough to your search presence to recognize when something changes. If an opportunity, risk, or need falls outside the level of service we agreed on, we discuss the options first. Nothing is simply added to your bill.
If your needs genuinely change, we can adjust the level of support together. The relationship, history, and knowledge stay intact.
Most new SEO providers will want to start with their own discovery and onboarding process. That is understandable. They have their own methods and need to reach their own conclusions. But it also means revisiting your history, access, goals, market, competitors, website, past decisions, and what has already been tried.
SEO Continuity helps avoid that unnecessary reset. The knowledge we have already built stays with the relationship, so we can spend more time looking forward instead of repeatedly starting from step one.
What does not have to be rediscovered
Barrett Concepts already handles technical SEO, development, content, local links, analytics, and other day-to-day needs as part of the work we do. The difference is intensity. SEO Continuity is designed to keep the fundamentals moving at the level your practice needs now.
If your goals or competitive environment call for a stronger push, we can deepen work in those same areas, add specialized capacity, or bring in outside expertise under our direction. When the additional effort is no longer justified, it can be reduced without replacing the relationship.
More resources when they earn their place.
Less when they do not.
Larger content and link campaigns, complex technical or development projects, advanced CRO, deeper analytics, and other higher-volume work can be added when justified.
Practice growth consulting, call tracking, paid advertising, digital media creation, advanced reputation work, and other specialized support can be layered in when useful.
We can assemble and oversee additional resources so the work stays connected to the history and goals we already understand. Outside provider costs are not marked up, and those resources are not intended to create another long-term agency commitment.
These are capabilities, not a promise to manufacture a fixed number of tasks every month.
The work should follow the opportunity.
Google Business Profile, local visibility, citations, geographic opportunities, and competitive local search analysis.
Technical audits, site health, WordPress management, website changes, migrations, hosting coordination, and conversion issues.
Service pages, location targeting, on-page optimization, content strategy, Google Posts, and search-focused copy improvements.
Who actually competes with you in search, what they do better, where your gaps are, and which opportunities are worth pursuing.
Review sentiment, brand consistency, listings, social presence, asset ownership, and the signals patients encounter before choosing you.
Analytics, Search Console, reporting, consulting, prioritization, and helping you decide when to increase, decrease, or redirect effort.
I am Brad Barrett. I have been optimizing websites for search and conversions since 1997, and today most of my attention is focused on local SEO for independent dental practices.
Barrett Concepts is deliberately small and flexible. If you come on board now, you are guaranteed to work directly with me. As the company grows, the goal is not to replace that relationship with layers of account management. It is to add capable people who can step in where their skills are useful while keeping the strategy, history, and accountability connected.
My goal is not to maximize the amount of SEO I can sell you. It is to make sure your practice is doing the amount of SEO it actually needs, and that someone who understands your business keeps looking out for it.
If you are not sure what level of SEO your practice needs, that is the point. We can begin by talking about where you are, what you want to change, and whether SEO Discovery makes sense as the next step.
No automated audit and no form to fill out. Call me, tell me what is going on, and we can decide whether SEO Discovery is worth the next step.
